Social media is a powerful tool that can be used not only for marketing and connecting with students, clients or customers, but also for internal communication, collaborative learning and crowd sourcing of information. This month Kate vanderVoort will share her experience in growing and facilitating communities of people who come together on social media around causes, interests, experiences and products that are meaningful to them. From Blogging to Buffer, Facebook to Feedly, LinkedIn to Learning Communities and Twitter to Tools that the experts use, we will talk about it all. You will leave inspired to go and put things into action in your business or workplace. Join us for an evening of great conversation, learning and Q&A!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we weren’t able to video Tamara Simons’ session in this months On the Learning Couch.

Tamara Simon is a well-known speaker, trouble shooter and also author of ‘The five little business pigs’ and ‘The five little RTO pigs’.

Despite the weather and the variation from our usual routine Tamara’s session was lively and enthusiastically received, covering practical and simple strategies to help you build a better training business.

Louise Kelly over in WA has sat down with Paula Smith, CSP, and discussed Personal Branding. Paula shares her insights into standing out and being memorable for all the right reasons. Check it out below.
